Majestic view of Dharmasthala temple complex in Karnataka

Dharmasthala is a place of great religious and cultural importance. It's like a comfortable and affordable home, where everything is well-maintained, and you can find inexpensive accommodations. The primary deity here is Lord Manjunath, representing pure and divine emotions. I have been visiting this place for the past three years, and it always feels like a homecoming once a year. In the morning, taking a dip in the Netravathi River and standing in line, dressed in a white shirt and traditional panche, just to get a glimpse of the deity, is truly priceless. After the darshan (worship), sitting quietly inside the temple brings peace and happiness. Later, enjoying the delicious Anna Prasad is a must-try experience.

Afterward, I love wandering around the small town. One of my favorite things to do is visiting the car museum. As a car enthusiast, it's a fantastic feeling to explore the collection. I can't count how many times I've visited, but it's always a great experience.

You can also see the elephants in Dharmasthala, including the newly adopted baby elephant named "Shivani." It's adorable to watch her play. The town's serene and harmonious atmosphere, along with its rich cultural heritage, makes it an appealing destination for both tourists and pilgrims.
